AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF KAMAX GROUP

An agreement has been signed for the acquisition of Kamax Group by Fontana Gruppo. The transaction will further consolidate the Italian Group’s position as a leader in the fasteners industry, strengthening its European and global footprint. Kamax has a significant manufacturing presence in Germany, Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and China. Fontana Gruppo continues its expansion strategy strengthening itself with a player of recognized quality. Following the transaction, Fontana Group will have a total of 42 plants, employing more than 9,000 people, and generating approximately €2 billion in revenue.

managerial perspective, this acquisition represents an important opportunity for business development, strengthening our distinctive positioning in the fasteners sector, while generating significant prospects for growth and value creation. With its 15 plants, Kamax brings a significant contribution to the Group in terms of technological capabilities and know-how. This strategic operation represents a further step in the process of our Group’s global expansion, which in 2025 also saw the completion of the acquisitions of RTF in India and MNP in the United States, further strengthening our already well-established presence in India, United States, Mexico, and Brazil.” The closing is expected to be finalized in the coming months, once the authorization process has been completed.
