Fontana Gruppo started its expansionist policy in Italy in the early 70s with Bulloneria Briantea in Melegnano. In terms of size, the most critical acquisition was Lobo, in Cornaredo, in 1976, while the entry of IBS, in Buttigliera Alta, in 1989 allowed the Group to increase its presence in the automotive industry, today its reference market.

Fontana Gruppo is an Italian business story, but it is also a family story. It was born from the entrepreneurial passion Loris and Walter Fontana inherited from their father Luigi, which led them to find Fontana Luigi, the first company of the Group, seventy years ago.
