ISTITUTO SASSI VISITS VEDUGGIO HEADQUARTERS
On May 12, a second-year class from the A. Sassi school in Briosco visited the Headquarters of Fontana Gruppo in Veduggio. The day began with a presentation by Engineer Luca Farina, Industrialization Manager at Fontana Gruppo, who guided the students on a journey through history and innovation. Starting from Magna Graecia, he illustrated the evolution of the fastener up to today’s production processes. The plant tour was conducted with the support of Engineers Francesco Pocchia Febbrariello, Production Manager, and Beniamino Martignoni, Plant Quality Coordinator. Also participating in the morning were the Maestri del Lavoro, former Fontana Gruppo employees who were honored with this title upon retirement for their professional dedication and merit. Today, they are involved in educational outreach, accompanying students on company visits to share the importance of education and the values of work, while also offering insights from their experience within the company. The students followed the visit with attention and curiosity, showing keen interest in every stage of the process. Fontana Gruppo is pleased to have once again welcomed young minds eager to learn and engage!
