Giuseppe Fontana, Fontana Gruppo CEO, shared the perspective of the world’s number one multinational in the fasteners sector at the conference “The World in 2025: Time to Deliver,” organized by ISPI, Assolombarda, and SACE. «In the European market, we observe a limited inclination to create new business opportunities and an excessive focus on increasingly stringent regulations. For this reason, as we have been doing for decades, we also look beyond Europe’s borders and focus on identifying opportunities in other markets. Among these are the UAE and the entire Far East, Africa, and India».
Dr. Fontana also emphasized that «the company’s strategy has always been oriented toward localization rather than delocalization, meaning the construction of structures and organizations locally within different markets to serve those same markets».
On the topic of innovation, he referenced Krabo, Fontana Gruppo’s startup dedicated to developing smart fastening systems.
